Nationwide Gourmet Outing Fair!” for a limited time from Saturday, November 1, 2025 to Sunday, November 30, 2025. In advance of the fair, we are now accepting applications from participating restaurants starting today.

This year, we will be holding a “National Gourmet Tour Selected Gourmet” event, providing an opportunity for people to experience and sample the appeal of rice and rice flour from all over the country. In advance of the fair, we are accepting applications from participating restaurants from today until Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Participating restaurants will receive in-store POPs and posters, have their rice flour menu featured on the campaign’s special website, and receive rice flour samples for developing new menu items. Requirements 1. During the fair, offer at least one menu item using domestically produced rice flour. 2. New-purpose rice flour must be used. 3. POPs must be displayed during the fair. 4. Information about the rice flour menu items and store information must be submitted. 5. Please cooperate with the Rice and Rice Flour Consumption Promotion Project staff in checking the implementation of the fair during the fair period. 6. The “Rice and Rice Flour Consumption Expansion Promotion Project” is being implemented as part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’ “Rice and Rice Flour Consumption Expansion Measures Project.” This project aims to increase consumption of rice and rice flour, a crop that Japan can self-sufficiently produce, in order to ensure a stable food supply, in response to a renewed awareness of the importance of Japan’s food security due to increased food demand caused by global population growth, rising raw material prices, and the weak yen. ■About the project implementation body In 1996, we launched the restaurant information site “Gurunavi*.” This established the dining out style of checking detailed menu information beforehand before going to a restaurant.
